Checker at United: "She is so cute! How old is she?"
Me: "HE is 4 months."
Checker: "Oh wow! He is so big!" REALLY?? C'mon!
Waitress at Waffle House: "How old is she? She is too cute!"
Me: "Haha, HE is 4 months."
Waitress: "Oh my goodness, he is big - look at those legs!"
Waitress: "Oh my goodness, he is big - look at those legs!"
MMMMMMMKKKKKKK people, shall we have a quick lesson in SOCIAL SKILLS?!
Last week, Parker went to the doctor for his 4 month shots and check up. At 4 months, babies can start on cereal. There was a part of me that was dreading this first - I was no longer going to be the sole provider of his nutrition. It is one step closer to my baby not being my baby anymore. I know that it sounds like I am doing a lot of "holding onto the past," BUT in my defense, I come by it honestly! Kane was so excited to start cereal because he would be able to feed him and I was excited for him. I have loved every moment of being a mom, even on the days when he wouldn't stop crying or he wouldn't go to sleep. I have so enjoyed watching him grow and learn and going through these "firsts" with my new family.
He weighs 14 lbs 15 oz and is 26 inches long - he is a brick house! Parker is perfectly healthy and right on schedule! I couldn't be more proud. I want to stand on the rooftops and shout it out!
Moving on to the fun stuff..PICTURES!
Such a cutie!! I can't wait for him & Dylan to play!!
ReplyDeleteHE is so cute! :) Seriously, though. Okay... so... if a baby is wearing an ambiguous outfit and you don't know if it's a boy or gift, what DO you say? Just, "your baby is so cute"? Thanks for coming by my blog! Good luck on the giveaway!
